About Us

Tile Art was established in 1991 and is the "sister" store to Light Art which opened in 2002. Tile Art is owned by Kim Eisner and operated by her and her staff.

Kim has always had a passion for aesthetics. With a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Kim began Tile Art by creating handmade custom tile, ceramic door pulls. stoneware lighting wall sconces, and ceramic wall murals. With a ceramics/fine arts background, it was a natural combination for the new business. As demand grew and additional quality custom tile was available commercially, Kim expanded her business into designing, while providing natural stone, ceramic, and porcelain tile, glass mosaics, and custom rugs from around the world.

In 2006, Tile Art moved into its current location at 2180 N. Main Avenue, where there is 6000 sq. ft. of showroom space, split between Tile Art and Light Art, and a large warehouse.

In 2010, Tile Art expanded to include in-house slab fabrication, which includes in-house fabricators and installers.

Tile Art boasts a great staff of custom-oriented employees and complimentary design work. We strive for a unique customer experience, by working with the home owner, architect, designer, and builder to create a custom design approach that fits all budgets.
